Welcome

A warm-hearted welcome at the “Königlicher Hirschgarten” – the largest beer garden all over the world! You find this traditionally restaurant in Nymphenburg, a district of the Bavarian city Munich. This house is run as a restaurant since 1791. Today you will find more than 500 seats indoor, 1200 seats with service in the beer garden and the spectacular amount of 7000 seats in our self-service area.

We serve best beers and tasty tavern cuisine in a beautiful ambience. Our warm hospitality makes your visit a special and unforgettable experience – no matter if you visit us during summer or winter.

Your Host

Thomas Fesenmair is the new host in the „Königliche Hirschgarten“. He is a cook, restaurateur and hunter. He is also a passionate host and is most experienced.

Together with his team, takes care of your physical wellbeing and varied entertainment with Hirschgarten-Events.

Executive Chef

Dominik Kreuzig is the Executive Chef in the Wirtshaus and Beer Garden and looks after your culinary wellbeing. He and his team prepare tasty and typical Wirtshaus dishes with fresh ingredients, many of them home made.

How to get to the Hirschgarten

By car:

Drive up to the main entrance to the Hirschgarten on Königsbauerstraße.
Use the parking lot at the Hirschgarten. You will find this parking by driving coming from Arnulfstrasse via Guntherstrasse, turn left into Kriemhildenstrasse and turn into Sustrissestrasse by Königsbauerstrasse.

You will find enough parking spaces at the Hirschgarten-Park: You will find it on De-La-Paz-Straße. Then take a walk through the park to the the restaurant and beergarden.

By travelling the S-Bahn:
Get off the S-Bahn “Hirschgarten” or “Laim”. Then take a walk through the park to the the restaurant and beergarden.

By bus:
Get off the bus at “Romanplatz”. Follow the signs on foot.
